National Heart Foundation of New Zealand

The National Heart Foundation of New Zealand is committed to promoting heart health and reducing the suffering and early loss of life from heart disease through several avenues. One of these is the funding of cardiac research studies. The Directors of the Centre for Advanced MRI have been awarded several NHF grants for Cardiac MRI Projects.

Health Research Council of New Zealand of New Zealand (HRC)

The Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC) is the Crown agency responsible for the management of the Government's investment in public good health research. Ownership of the HRC resides with the Minister of Health, with funding being primarily provided from Vote Research, Science and Technology.

CAMRI receives a high level of technical and engineering support from Siemens including specialised staff training and supply of works-in-progress pre-release software. This close research collaboration between CAMRI and Siemens has resulted in a number of patents and joint distribution of software and intellectual property worldwide.
